Dilworth Family Kitchen

The Kitchen in this 2008 spec house was awkward with basic finishes.   A complete gut and adding a portion of the side porch to the heated footprint allowed this kitchen to be transformed into a space that is well suited to entertaining and serves as the heart of the home for casual family meals.  A new drop zone provides a transition space from the back yard, allowing the kitchen to function as intended rather than doubling as a drop zone.  Planked cabinetry, white oak beams, and a custom stainless-steel backsplash coupled with many custom details make for a kitchen that offers a fresh, yet timeless take on traditional elements and fits seamlessly into this craftsman inspired home.
