Projects

With a focus on single family work, Josh Allison Architecture’s completed projects represent a variety of scales and styles. Whether designing an expansive new home, a smaller renovation, or something in the middle, each project Josh Allison Architecture takes on receives the same thoughtful design approach and attention to detail.

Renovations and additions constitute a meaningful part of the firm’s work and are balanced by commissions for new construction. Keeping small scale projects in the mix has always been an intentional goal and Josh Allison Architecture embraces a “no project is too small” philosophy.
Stylistically, Josh Allison Architecture’s portfolio represents projects influenced by client visions ranging from traditional to modern. Josh Allison Architecture does not dictate the style of a project but instead listens to and interprets each client’s stylistic goals. Each new project is viewed as an opportunity to expand the firm’s diverse portfolio of work shown below.
Attention to detail is a key component of good architecture. Successful projects rely on details that reference and support an overall design concept. This belief coupled with a sincere interest in construction serve as Josh Allison Architecture's motivation to invest design energy into even the smallest details for each project. After all, as the saying goes- “The Devil is in the details”. The details shown here are examples of those designed to function from a technical and aesthetic perspective alike.
