Wesley Heights Craftsman

Located on a rare infill lot in Historic Wesley Heights, this house is designed to complement the streetscape and fabric of the existing neighborhood. The local historic district’s strict height requirements informed the project’s massing, which successfully keeps the scale in check with the neighbors while allowing the interior volumes to be larger than those typically found in historic homes of similar size. Exposed rafter tails, structural brackets, mitered siding corners, and other trim details take cues from the neighborhood to create a house that fits.
