Josh Allison Architecture’s Dilworth Kitchen (Entered as “A Kitchen That Fits”) was named a Southeastern regional winner in the Wolf SubZero’s Kitchen Design Contest! As a regional winner, Josh Allison Architecture will attend the Best of the Best Winners Summit and Gala in Scottsdale where the national winners will be announced on September 15th, 2015. AIA Charlotte awarded Story House by Josh Allison Architecture Honor award as well as the People’s Choice in the residential category!
The Jury’s comments:
“This is an exceptional adaptation of a mid-century modern house. The renovation was sensitive to the original structure while creating a great party house. We particularly like the simple palate of material and clean lines. The connection to the site and the interaction between the outdoor living and the great tree was well executed.”
