Located on a tidal marsh along the Intracoastal waterway, the house is sited to maximize views to the water through the wooded landscape.  The design takes cues from the traditional coastal architecture of North Carolina while using innovative detailing to create a house of today.  Authentic materials and careful detailing again refer to the local vernacular while insuring that the house will patina with time and remain a desirable piece of architecture for many years to come.
